Because he had a dream & tried to bring it into reality, he was hated, jailed, threatened & ultimately killed because of his work. This man was well educated & well spoken. Even in the midst of conflict, he promoted non-violence. This man is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Although he’s (physically) no longer with us, his efforts & dream still remains. Today, let’s all examine ourselves & ask, “What are we doing with OUR dream?” (Better yet, did you have a dream?) What are we doing to create a better place for our families, our communities, our nation, our world? No one can make things better by doing nothing. God has gifted all of us to be active with the skills He had given us. Stop turning Dr. King’s dream into a nightmare! Allow God to heal you, forgive yourself & show you how to be treated as well as how to treat someone. Break the cycle or generational curses by examining deeper & not assuming. It’s NOT too late to have a forever love IF you trust the Forever God 1st. Today, if you break a mirror, clean it up.
If you accidentally sweep a broom on your foot, at least it’s clean.
If you walk under a ladder, make sure it ain’t falling.
If you open an umbrella indoors, make sure it ain’t wet.
If you spill salt, don’t eat it.
And if a black cat crosses your path, well… That’s too bad for the cat!
Don’t live in fear because today (The 13th) fell on a Friday. If you are a Child of God, you don’t operate under bad or good luck. Plus, everyday that God made was (& is) good. Dating or befriending the WRONG person will send you to the WRONG person’s vehicle, have the WRONG driver, sending you on the WRONG path, & making it to the WRONG destination. Being influenced by the wrong people does NOT give you the RIGHT benefits. No matter how good of a friend you “trying to be” to help someone, they are NOT your responsibility. If you’re thinking that you’re the ONLY one who could reach or help them, that’s a clear sign that you’re too emotionally invested into them & you don’t want to pray about it because God will tell you that that person(s) is NOT you’re assignment. Always be prayerful about the folks you choose in your life. Facing reality about folks is very important if you’re serious about your value & your purpose in life. If he doesn’t love you enough to respect you, commit to you & wants to build a life for you to give him the response of “I DO!”, then… YOU DON’T! YOU DON’T waste your time, energy, give him your sex, your advice, do chores for him, try to change him, or anything else as if you were married! Stop giving wife benefits to guys who only got you as a girlfriend (or even a friend girl). Ask God to reveal that guy’s motives, then you’ll clearly see his intentions. After He reveals them to you, you have to believe that God is showing you the truth for your best interest. Break the cycle of domestic violence, toxic, empty, or narcissistic relationships, that will eventually leaving you hurt, broken, divorced or killed. Remember, you’re never stuck in something you were not born with. You can be free without any guilt, shame or fear! #May God break every chain that had you bound! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
