Daily Devotion for December 31, 2022

Be careful who you give your care to. Giving your attention to the wrong folks will distract you from your assignment & leave you empty (or drained) towards the right folks. As the new year approaches, ask God to help you leave the old you in the old year & help you be more responsible towards you. Stick to what He tells you & don’t give God less than your complete obedience. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for December 30, 2022

Did you know that your name reveals or promote your character? Well, with that being said, stop responding to a bad name or character that folks call you. Listen! The more you respond to that name that ain’t yours, the more folks will identify you as that character. Know that God did not intend for you to be disrespected or belittled, so why give them the satisfaction by renaming you something that God doesn’t see you as nor want you to see yourself as? Know who you are in God & to those who really love & care about you. Remember, if you respond to it, that means you receive it! #Don’t answer to the wrong name or character! Be blessed! #brotherprater

If your situation costs you your peace, then it’s too expensive. Your peace, your joy, your ethics, your relationship with God & yourself should never be negotiated with anything or anyone. See, the blessings of God makeths rich & adds NO SORRY (Drama or consequences). What God has for you will add life to you, not take it from you. Remember, if God ain’t the sender, you don’t be the receiver. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Be on high alert on what God is trying to show you. satan wants to distract you from seeing it, but it is of great importance to keep your spiritual antennas up for the message God is wanting to give you. Be in prayer mode & ask God to help you discern what was made by man or sent by God. This is a critical time in your life with decisions & opportunities in front of you, so you don’t have time to waste or miss what (or who) God has for you. When you ask for more blessings, you sign up for more lessons. Rather it be problems folks throw upon you or just plain old life situations, those are opportunities God can use as teachable moments to give you the tools or rules to help you achieve your purpose. Although there may be times you’ll need a kleenex, don’t forgive to grab a pen & paper to write what God may be showing you in that situation! Always remember, what the devil meant to hurt you, God will use it to educate & edify you! #Gain inspite of pain! Be blessed! #brotherprater
