Some folks will protect a broken arm, but continue to expose a broken heart. Learn to protect yourself because you’re worth it. Stop giving yourself to folks who only want to block you from the one God has for you. Listen! Valuable doesn’t mean vulnerable. You’re more important & smarter than you think. Forgive yourself & move on! Now you know better, do better! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Somebody needs to hear this!
Don’t allow an accident to become a lifestyle! True! We all have made mistakes, but what did you learn from them? Seek & listen to wise counsel, study your subject, & evaluate your risk versus reward. No longer make an impulsive or emotional decision anymore & forgive yourself from past experiences when you did. Don’t be influenced by those who don’t have or don’t want what you seeking for. Always walk in love, obedience (to God), peace, humility, integrity & forgiveness. Learn the difference between hearing the voice of God, the voice of satan & the voice of your emotions. Next time, before you make a decision, slow your road by going to God & let Him give you the instructions or set the scene. Remember, break the cycle for yourself, your family & your legacy! Be blessed! #brotherprater

One day, a man prayed to God for a good home cooked meal. The next day, there were bags of grocery at his doorsteps. Later that night, the man prayed, “Lord! Thank you for the grocery, but will you send me a home cooked meal?” Immediately, thunder sounded, the house shook, the wind blew & a loud voice said, “I gave you all the ingredients for you to fix your own home cooked meal!” So often we ask God to bless us or give us things, but we miss the methods of how He wants us to have it. Sometimes, God wants to bless you with the skills to create what you’re asking Him for. You can’t be afraid to work harder for the things you desire. There’s an old saying, “Give a man a fish, you’ll feed him a day, but teach a man how to fish, you’ll feed him a lifetime.” See, we tend to appreciate things (or people) more when we have to work a little harder. So, the next time you ask God to move for you, He may want to move through you. Remember, God may not put it in your hands, He may put it within your reach. #Get up & make it happen #I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthen me! Be blessed! #brotherprater

If you can guard who get the keys to your house, you can guard who get the keys to your heart! Stop making keys & giving them to bad tenants you haven’t evicted yet. Don’t allow those bad tenants re-entry to your heart over & Over & OVER again. It’s time to give all of them a NO TRESPASSING notice. Let God evict every joker in your heart, change the locks, repair your damages & sanitize every area that was contaminated. Remember, God has the Master key & He’ll show you who’s qualified for your heart! Be blessed! #brotherprater
