Daily Devotion for June 29, 2023

If you can’t tell what ingredients a chef used if you weren’t in the kitchen, you can’t tell what a person did or didn’t do if you weren’t there. Don’t let folks pressure you to speak on their behalf because you don’t know the whole story. See, there is a motive of them using you to come to their rescue. You may be agreeing with some bad or wrong behavior (unknowingly). Also, they may be relying on you because their reputation is damaged & yours in good standing & folks will lean towards yours reputation instead of their. Then when the whole story comes out, your reputation has been shot. Don’t be so quick to co-sign for folks. You’ve worked too long & hard to build up your reputation & savings to risk it on folks who ain’t worried about their owns. Pray & let God tell you how to handle them. Remember, your reputation is at stake & you don’t want to set yourself up to be used AGAIN! #Speak what you know & testify on what you’d seen. Be blessed! #brotherprater
