If your child asked you for gasoline so they could drink it, would you give it to them? No matter if they repeatedly ask you or they throw a temper tantrum on the floor, after you snatch them up & give them a Natchez, Mississippi whooping, you still wouldn’t give them no freaking gasoline. You understand that what they want would harm them. You would withhold what they’re asking for because you love them & you know what’s best for them. Well, if a loving parent would withhold something harmful from their begging child, why would we get mad when something is withheld from us by our Heavenly Father? God knows everything (& everybody), & wouldn’t give us anything (or anybody) who would harm us or pull us from Him. Let’s be grateful for those “unanswered” prayer requests.
