Daily Devotion for October 31, 2020

A person can steal your I.D., but don’t let them steal your identity! Your I.D. is a piece of paper, but your identity is who you are. Your identity reveals your CHARACTER! Just as much as you protect that paper, you MUST protect your identity. Don’t allow folks within your circle who are known for identity theft. Let God reveal to you those who you should (or should not) trust & those who would negatively influence your good name (or reputation). Remember, man gave you your I.D., but God gave you your identity! #Your I.D. is to be used, NOT YOU! #Guard Who You Are! Be blessed! #brotherprater

If you let folks know that they’re getting to you, they will have control of you. See, the puppet on the string is controlled by how that puppet’s master wants it to respond. As long as you’re reactions are based upon folks actions, they will have control & power over you. You have to learn who you’re dealing with & don’t respond to their foolishness. See, folks are not going to stop picking on you because you tell them to stop. You have to stop reacting the way that they want you to. That will cuts the strings off of you & they won’t have control over you. Ask God to help you not to give your power to your enemies. Don’t let folks get into your head. Remember, never let them see you sweat & never show them the towel that wiped your tears! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Somebody needs to hear this!
If you learn how to manage your time, then you’ll know how to manage your heart. I know you’re trying to figure out how to stop being used or disappointing yourself pertaining to matters of the heart, while the devil is trying to make you think that it’s harder than it is or you can’t do it. Know that God wants you to understand the importance of your time & how valuable you are within your time. See, as you consult & obey God, He will show you the difference between those who will fuel you versus those who will fool you. Prioritizing what’s important in God’s eyes (not yours) is the key to protecting your heart. No longer waste your heart with bad relationships, unloyal friendships, trying to help ungrateful folks, or pursuing a dead-end goals, that left you tired & full of disappointments. Let God teach you how to be a good steward (manage) with your time, then your heart will thank you. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for October 28, 2020

When you go into a fitting room of a store, you’ll notice 2 things: There will be a mirror for you to see how you look & the fitting room has just enough room for you. If anyone wants to see how you look (with that outfit on), they need to wait outside the fitting room because they’ll distract or prevent you from changing. In life, you may feel alone, folks leave you or nobody wants to deal with you, know that God has you in His fitting room to change your life. Don’t focus on who ain’t with you when God has you. Everybody don’t need to see or know your process. See, some folks are waiting for you to fail, so they can celebrate & talk about you. But God (in His wisdom) made the dressing room with just enough size for Him & you to fit in! Don’t be so anxious to be with folks when God ain’t through dressing you. Let God give you the patience you need during your process. Remember, everybody ain’t fit for your new outfit! Be blessed! #brotherprater
