When you damage your skin, your body will create a scab to protect the injury. Although you’ve dealt with an injured heart, God Himself will be your scab to protect you from further hurt or infection. No longer beat yourself up over what happened. That doesn’t define who you area. Regardless of who hurt you or how long it’s been, release every hurt or pain over to Him. Remember, an immediate hurt requires immediate healing.
