No amount of love you “try to” give to someone can substitute for the love God has for them or the love they should give to themselves. Like a hole in a pocket that always loses money, until the hole is fixed, the money will always be lost. The same is true about the love you give them. Until their heart is healed by God, then coated with self-love, the love you give them will be lost or mismanaged. Regardless if it’s in dating, dealing with your family or trying to help folks, protect your heart by being careful who you give it to. Remember, being a good steward is more than about your money.
