Daily Devotion for Wednesday November 12, 2025

Folks with big hearts must have big guards to protect their boundaries from folks. No longer give a person your heart or trust when they hadn’t earned it, take them at their word but they show no corresponding actions or accept when they’re always inconsistent in what they do. Make yourself as important as the folks you try to help. Remember, before you build a bridge to connect with others, make sure your gate is secure to protect you from others! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Tuesday November 11, 2025

Sometimes looking for closure requires you to just remember why the door was closed in the 1st place. Don’t subject yourself to more lies, abuse or manipulation. Let their last words be the final word & trust God’s Word for your identity & leading of your life! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Monday November 10, 2025

Somebody needs to hear this!
God didn’t free you from it (or them) for you to go back to it. Matthew 12:43-45 & Luke 11:24-26 talk about when an unclean spirit is cast out, but then returns with 7 more spirits (as backup) more wicked to cause more damages. When God delivers you from something (or someone), fill yourself with His Word, a consistent prayer life, a healthy (Godly) support system. Don’t allow your “kind or good heart” to cause you to fall back into an old trap that you once had you bound. Remember, the truth shall set you free, but a lie will keep you bound. #Who the Son sets free, is free indeed. So, stay free! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Sunday November 9, 2025

Sometimes your purpose is attached to what (or who) God is trying to deliver fear from. Know that God didn’t give you the spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE & SELF DISCIPLINE. So, the next time God is leading you to do something & you begin to feel fearful, remember that satan is trying to distract you from linking into your gift or God given purpose. God can turn that fear into anticipation for what’s ahead. Go! In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Be blessed! #brotherprater Brother Prater

Daily Devotion for Saturday November 8, 2025

You never know what someone is going through. That’s why it’s so important to pray & LISTEN to folks when they are giving clues for help. And we have to tell them more than, “Just pray about it! or Give it to God!” How about we show them what that looks like? God may have sent you to help them, walk with them in their issue or be that listening ear. Let’s keep our spiritual senses on high alert so we could be there for those who are struggling. Remember, we are our brother’s keeper & sadly some may feel like they’re not being kept. #Let’s show love to one another! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Friday November 7, 2025

Like an athlete who plays through pain, God will give you the strength to praise through pain. In the midst of what you’re dealing with, don’t give up! Remember, God will wipe every tear from your eyes! Be encouraged! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Thursday November 6, 2025

Somebody needs to hear this!
God may get you by yourself to show you that you AIN’T by yourself. Stop putting your trust in folks that’s always around you. Sometimes God will use a situation to reveal their motives or how they really feel about you. BUT DON’T LOSE HEART OR GET DISCOURAGED! As long as you’re obedient & keep your eyes on Jesus, you’ll NEVER lack what you need. Remember, God will use someone leaving you to send someone who would lead you! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Wednesday November 5, 2025

We often thank God for what He does or give to us, but have you thought about thanking Him for what He didn’t give you. He didn’t give you that job you thought you wanted because He knew it was going under. He didn’t hook you up with that person you thought you wanted so badly because He knew that person was crazy, would bring out the worse in you or make your life hell, etc, etc. So the next time you thank God for what (or who) He “blessed” to you , don’t forget to thank Him for what He “blocked” from you. #Thank God for having our best interest in His heart! Be blessed! #brotherprater

That same word you encourage others with WILL work for you! God didn’t put it in your mouth just for other folks’ ears. Listen what the Lord is saying, even if He uses you! #Speak it! Be blessed! #brotherprater
