Folks with big hearts must have big guards to protect their boundaries from folks. No longer give a person your heart or trust when they hadn’t earned it, take them at their word but they show no corresponding actions or accept when they’re always inconsistent in what they do. Make yourself as important as the folks you try to help. Remember, before you build a bridge to connect with others, make sure your gate is secure to protect you from others!
