Daily Devotion for May 11, 2024

Sometimes you have to look at what you fear & face it to overcome it. Like a bully, if you keep avoiding it, it will chase you throughout your life. Stop running, turn around & realize that fear is trying to prevent you from moving forward or blocking you from what God has for you. Remember, God did NOT give you a spirit of fear, so why do you entertain it? #Operate in faith, not fear! Be blessed! #brotherprater

What the devil meant for evil, God will turn it for your good (& benefit). Don’t focus on the signs or the conditions ahead, because the exit is near & your turn is next. Remember, you will have glory for your story. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for May 9, 2024

Stop comparing yourself to other folks! God had given each one of us different gifts, talents, skills & personalities based upon how He saw fit. Don’t diminish your importance anymore. If you try to be somebody else, then who would be you? Know that every person is important, has value & a purpose. Instead of seeking for validation from others, seek God pertaining to your identity or contribution to this world. Remember, if you want your gift to make room for you, you must move in the gift God gave you. #Don’t worry about who doesn’t like you…. Do you like you? Love the skin that you’re in! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for May 8, 2024

To the single women!
If he “loves” you enough to give you a nickname, he should love you enough to give you his last name. Don’t allow yourself to be used or disrespected anymore. He’ll have you in the category of friends with benefits, but you’re the one who’s left hurt, alone & no benefits…. Just consequences. A man who loves you will marry you, will build with you, pray with you & for you, protect you (Mentally, Physically, Emotionally & Spiritually). Don’t waste your time or heart with someone who wants your “benefit” without making you their beneficiary. Ask God to give you patience, the spirit of discernment & the strength to walk away from who abuses you or doesn’t want to commit to you. Know that your relationship should not be one sided. He will bring something to the table to invest into the relationship. He will have some “skin in the game” instead of running game to get into your skin. Remember, if he has nothing at risk, he doesn’t deserve your “reward”. #You’re worth your worth! Be blessed! #brotherprater
