Daily Devotion for October 25, 2022

Just because you lack love from the one you expect to receive it from, doesn’t mean you’re not loved by others. Sometimes when we don’t get the love from the one we love, we tend to allow their absence of love to become our identity or we look at ourselves as unlovable. Know that folks feelings about you are NOT your responsibility to change. That is a distraction for you to work hard to convince them, then become frustrated when it doesn’t work. You must know who you are by how God feels about you, not by others. God placed great valuable stocks in you that will attract high interest from others He sends. Put yourself & your needs as an important assignment on your daily calendar. Remember, if you remove your focus from those who don’t care, then you’ll see how much you’re really loved by others, by God & ultimately yourself! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Sometimes a bandaid can’t stop bleeding. It may require you going to the professional doctor to get some stitches or staples. In life, there are some wounds you CAN’T self medicate. There’s nothing wrong with getting the professional help to deal with the wounds in life. God has license professional ministers in place to help us in whatever fields we need assistance in. Don’t let the opinion of others make you question your Faith in God or miss you getting the help you need. Remember, if you can go to the doctor to deal with a physical wound, you can go to a professional counselor to deal with an emotional wound. Be blessed & be healed… in Jesus’ Name, Amen! #brotherprater

Some of the stuff (or people) we’re holding on to, is the very thing that’s holding us back from where God is trying to take us. Examine your possessions & company to see if it’s preventing you from taking off. A hot air balloon can’t take off until it gets rid of sand bags! Remember, it’s not designed to stay on the ground & neither are you! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Sometimes you have to laugh at yourself & say, “That was a crazy decision!” Now, I didn’t say, “You were crazy or was stupid!” I said your decision was! Learn to stop beating yourself up over mistakes you’ve made. Give yourself some GRACE & LAUGH IT OFF! #Now you know better, DO BETTER! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for October 21, 2022

If you notice, you have to apply for your driver’s license, pass the written & driving test to earn your license. After a few years, when you go to get your license renewed, you have to get evaluated to prove that you’re in good condition to maintain your license. Things such as owing I.R.S., Child Support, getting a D.W.I., etc could get your license suspend or revoke. Well, if you have to prove & maintain good standing for your driver’s license, how about using the same principle towards those you allow in your life. Don’t allow folks free access in your road when their actions should have caused them to be suspended or revoked from you. Remember, remove reckless drivers from the road to your heart. You’ll be glad you did. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Somebody needs to hear this!
No matter how many times you’ve failed, if it’s still nudging on your spirit, don’t quit! God may be keeping it fresh on your spirit for you to pursue it because it’s His purpose for you. Evaluate where things failed at, do more research on it & center yourself around successful folks in it. Don’t let fear or discouragement kill your passion or dreams. Remember, if you make one step, God will make two. #Prepare for your comeback! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for October 19, 2022

Are you tired? I’m not talking about tired because of some physical activity. I’m talking about tired emotionally, mentally or even spiritually. There are things we face in life that could drain the mess out of you. Especially when you’re already empty & folks still expect for you to perform as if you’re ok or pour into them, but no one around to pour back into you. Inspite of how it looks, this is your season of RESTORATION. God will not only refill you, but heal you of all hurt, disappointments, worry, stress, etc that you dealt with. You will be able to life into the mirror & appreciate who you are. Know that the best of your life is still ahead. You will be able to have the quality of life God has for you. May this message remind you of your importance & worth. We acknowledge you for all you do & all you are. Remember, inspite of how things look, your work will pay off, not only in Heaven, but here on earth. #We see you & pour back into you! #Day 1! Be blessed! #brotherprater
