Daily Devotion for October 13, 2022
No matter your title, position, etc, everybody needs someone to lean on or talk to. Yes! We have Jesus. True! But God made all of us for relationship. Now when I say relationship, I’m not talking about dating or marriage. I’m talking about having fellowship with others (within a family, friendship workmanship, etc). No person can go without the assistance of another. That’s why it’s so important to listen to God & allow Him to guide you to the right folks to fellowship with (because the devil has already sent the wrong folks in your path to destroy your trust in humanity & yourself). If you had chosen the wrong folks in the past to love, trust or befriend, forgive yourself & don’t assume everybody with you, is for you. Take your time & God will show you the character & integrity (even the motives) of folks from the very beginning. Regardless if it’s delegating responsibilities to others or just need an ear, it’s ok to acknowledge that you need help. Remember, just as others can be a blessing to you, you’re a blessing to other, so don’t cut yourself of from others! #Everybody needs somebody! Be blessed! #brotherprater
