Daily Devotion for August 23, 2022

Since God promised you perfect peace, stop looking for others to give you peace. Remember, when others give you something, they control it (or you) & oftentimes they’ll take it back. But when God gives you something, it’s yours for keeps. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Somebody needs to hear this!
God did NOT bring you this far to leave you or for you to fail. Look at this situation as a distraction that satan brought to convince you to stop pursuing what God is about to give you! See, God never told you that He was going to leave you or not do it for you. The key thing to remember is…. God didn’t say it, so stop listening to the devil & keep on pushing! #Staying the course no matter what! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Although the wound may have healed, please allow rehabilitation for your injuries. There may be unseen damages & scar tissues that needs to be dealt with. You having them doesn’t mean you’re weak, crazy or not saved. Even if others ignore your pain, God won’t. Know that God is concerned about everything pertaining to you & wants to make you whole. No longer hide behind your smile anymore. God heard your heart & sent this message to remind you that He will help you recover. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for August 18, 2022

If you were in a conversation with a stranger about your child, you would likely refer to your child by their position (being your child) because they don’t know your child. But if you’re talking to someone who has a relationship with you or your child, you would refer to your child by name. You mentioning them by name would acknowledge their specific identity, character or intimate relationship of who they are to you. In life, you may have many question you’re curious about. But one you never have to wonder about is… WHO YOU ARE TO GOD! God knows you by name & expresses who you are to Him to others. No longer feel unloved, unappreciated or unknown. You are a Child of God. God’s relationship with you is important to Him. Remember, no matter what life may bring, your Heavenly Father cares for you deeply & is always on His heart. #Known by the Father. Be blessed! #brotherprater
