How often do you look at your keychain to see if you’re still using those keys? Shoots! Some of those keys you probably can’t remember what it goes to. Lol! Those keys not only give you access to something, but it’s a reminder to you that you still have connection to it. That’s why it’s important to remove keys from the keychain once you no longer have need of them. Well, that’s the same principle that needs to be used for the Keychains of Life. Don’t allow excess old keys to weigh you down or hold up space that’s designed for current & good ones. God will reveal to you the keys to cherish & the keys to throw away. And just in case you gave a key to someone that shouldn’t have it anymore… CHANGE YOUR LOCKS! #Eliminate Excess & Stop Unwanted Access!

Somebody really needs this now!
Sometimes the strongest ones carry the heaviness load. No one may ever know what you are dealing with behind closed doors. It seems like your tears are chasing each other & you feel numb all day long. Your smile or your silence may be louder than what some folks could take. But inspite of how much weight you’re carrying, God told us that we could give it all to Him. He promised that He wouldn’t leave or abandoned us during difficult times. He told us that it won’t be like this always. No longer feel like you’re dealing with this by yourself. Remember, God promised to get us throughout this & we MUST stand on it! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for March 28, 2021

Don’t ever think that you’re getting on God’s nerves talking to Him. Even though you may get on your own nerves, God wants you to talk to Him unrestricted. Have you noticed that whenever you want to study or talk to God, the devil will give you every reason that you shouldn’t? satan will bring up your past mistakes, insecurities, your bad upbringing, or any other reason to convince you that you don’t deserve to go to God. Know that God is concerned about our soul as well as what’s troubling it. No longer think that God is counting how many times you go to Him (even if it’s about the same thing). You’re not a weak Christian or lacking faith in God. You’re simply one of God’s children using your rights to talk to our Heavenly Father #Romans 8:38-39, let NOTHING separate you from the love of God! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for March 27, 2021

When I was buying an alge eater for my aquarium, I asked the manager how big will the alge eater grow. He told me that the growth of the alge eater was based upon the size of the aquarium. If I used a small aquarium, it won’t grow much, but if I used a big one, it will grow into the size of the aquarium. In other words, the alge eater’s environment will determine the size of the alge eater. If an environment will affect a fish, imagine how it will affect you. Do you have people in your environment who will feed you (mentally & spiritually)? Do they encourage you or are they always negative? Do they inspire you to grow or do they let you settle for less? Do they recharge you or do they drain the life out of you? Know that God has given you the ability to choose the folks you want in your aquarium. Evaluate each people you allow into your company & don’t feel guilt if you have to give some folks an eviction notice. Remember, if you’re the smartest one in your environment, then you got the wrong folks in your aquarium! Be blessed! #brotherprater
