Everybody that you deal with on a professional level does not mean that you need to deal with them in a personal level. It seems like you cool with them in a professional setting, then you allow them closer into your life & they use you. They didn’t change, that’s who they really were. Understand that some folks can do a job or duty, but they may not have the same intent, passion or spirit as you. See, the hardest truth that you MUST accept is… Everybody AIN’T like you. You set (some) folks expectations too high when they haven’t earned it. If you accept that, then their behavior won’t tick you off. Ask God to help you to set healthy boundaries & discern who to befriend, who to keep professional only & stick to it. Regardless if it’s at work, in a church ministry or even in a family setting, do your job & GO HOME! #Just Because Y’all at the Same Place Doesn’t Mean Y’all Have the Same Spirit!
