Daily Devotion for Tuesday July 22, 2025

Hearing the passing of Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Theo) really made us feel like we lost a family member. He was funny, caring, stylish & very, very relatable with us. It was like when we turned on the tv, we were inviting him into our homes & lives. We saw him grow up from a young boy into a man right before our eyes. Even though some of us never met him, it was like we knew everything about him. Seeing many folks share their tributes or memories of him would make you wonder, “Did he really know how much he meant to us or the impact he made in our lives?” See, moments like that should make all of us do some soul searching. If you ever feel unappreciated, unimportant, or unloved, there may be someone who may feel like you mean the world to them. There may be some you barely know or those you never met, but you may have directly or indirectly made such an impact on their lives that they are forever grateful to you. Never think that you don’t matter in the world. God has given you purpose & value & at the appointed time, He will send folks on your path that will remind you of who you are to them & those who love you! #You do matter! #R.I.P. Malcolm! Be blessed! #brotherprater
