Daily Devotion for Wednesday October 16, 2024
Remember the saying- If you break it, you buy it? Well, that means if you ain’t got no money to pay for it, DON’T PICK IT UP! When those you love starts doing stuff they know they don’t suppose to be doing & they’ve been taught better, sometimes they have to pay for their own mistakes. See, we stress ourselves & break our backs trying to clean up a mess that they made. Now, it’s one thing if it’s an accident or just 1 bad decision they made (Shoots, we’ve all made mistakes). But when that person always into trouble & you have to bail them out time & time & time again, THAT’S A LIFESTYLE! You can’t rescue someone who is always endangering or using you. A lot of times they’re gonna keep doing what they’re doing because they know you’re gonna “Come to their rescue.” Sometimes, you have to love a person enough to let them wear the shoes they put on. When we hold them accountable for their decisions or behavior, not only they may see the full consequences of their decisions, but they may see what you’ve been dealing with & stop taking you for granted. Let God give you the strength & courage to give tough love to rough folks. Don’t feel bad for how they are or the help you did give them. Now it’s time you let them stand on their own 2 feet while you get off of yours. You’ve done enough! #Bought sense is sometimes the best sense. Be blessed! #brotherprater
