Daily Devotion for August 28, 2017

The devil loves to play mind games with people (even if they are a Christian). He will use your hurt, low self-esteem, misunderstandings, drama, unforgiveness, your past or even a misquoted Scripture to “try to” change you or control your mind. That’s why you have to PRAY, FORGIVE, & KNOW God’s Word for yourself! See, you have to do more than just read Scripture, you have to STUDY SCRIPTURE! Spend time with God, His Word, prayer & a good Bible study class to understand God’s Word (in its proper context). Know that it’s not just the preachers responsibility to study. It is EVERY Believers responsibility! We are fighting & being attacked by the SAME devil. Learn your rights/benefits & beat the devil at his own game by equipping yourself with the Word of God & avoid foolishness! The more you know (when applied), the more you’ll grow in the knowledge of God & about yourself! #Building your mind God’s Way! Be blessed!
