Daily Devotion for Thursday August 20, 2026

When you’re on a plane, the staff tells you, “In the event of an emergency, the oxygen mask will fall out. Put the mask on yourself BEFORE you put it on someone else.” Well, imagine if you put the mask on yourself 1st in your life. Stop trying to rescue everybody else when you’re running around without your mask. Most of the folks who says, “They like to “help folks” are seeking self- validation from others. And they find themselves disappointed when they don’t get it. Learn with value & important in life by knowing who you are in Christ Jesus. Remember, the less you seek from the opinion of others, the more you’ll grow in the facts from God. Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Wednesday August 19, 2026

Before you ask God for your purpose, are you prepared to have your purpose revealed? See! Like going to college, if you don’t know your major, at least tackle the basics. There are basic things we MUST do in life: Have a relationship with God, relationship with yourself, financial literacy, establish a healthy circle of family & friends (for counsel & accountability), & have a healthy ability to communication (effective talking & listening skills). Don’t wait until opportunity passes you by before you start investing into yourself. Remember, if you have the faith to believe God can give it to you now, do you have the readiness to put it into action? Well, don’t say it, SHOW IT! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for Monday August 17, 2026

Somebody needs to hear this!
Who said you ain’t nobody? Who said you ain’t good enough? Oh! Somebody who ain’t good in who they are or what they do. When you’re pursuing your purpose or an assignment God gave you, expect folks to talk you out of what ain’t in them. Let God be your focus & strength & you keep going until it’s finished. Remember, they’ve been talking about you, now give them something to talk about! Be blessed! #brotherprater
