Daily Devotion for September 25, 2023

Never get into a ship that God ain’t allowed in. Friendship, relationship, mentorship will all sink if God ain’t in it. Remember, the storms & rain will not only reveal who’s in control of your ship, but the quality of your ship! #Don’t pick the wrong ship! Watch your fellowship! Be blessed! #brotherprater

God won’t allow you to face anything that He didn’t put the weapons for on your back. Instead of backing out, reach into your backpack & use what He gave you. Remember, Moses used the rod that was in his possession, now you use what’s in your possession! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for September 23, 2023

Don’t allow the spirit of desperation cause perspiration & make you go into separation from God. When it seems like God ain’t moving, no need to panic or sweat. He may be working in the unseen realm to fix the root of the problem. Remember, if the earth could spin on its axis so fast that you’re standing still, imagine how fast God can move if you stood still & wait on Him. #Don’t move! Help is on the way! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Sometimes you have to encourage yourself & sometimes you have to laugh at yourself. Don’t be so hard on yourself when you made a crazy decision. If you learnt from it, cherish it! Thank God for His grace, another chance & laugh the guilt away! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for September 21, 2023

There is no time frame or set order on grief. You must give yourself permission to grieve.
Don’t compare your grief to others & don’t allow others to make you feel like you have to handle it just like them. Listen! We all have different relationships with our loved ones. The way they leave us & the timing they left plays a huge factor too. Stop trying to hold it in thinking you have to be strong. Be strong for who? No! You need to let it out for yourself! Grieving doesn’t mean that you ain’t got no faith or you don’t trust God. Grief is a form of loss or hurt you’ve experienced. And if you’re deciding if you should go to counseling… GO! So, no matter if it was recently or years ago, if you want to shed a tear, shed a tear outloud. If you want to scream, scream outloud. If you want to visit their gravesite or their favorite stop & reflect on good memories, do it outloud. If you want to talk about them, even if it seems like nobody’s listen, talk about them outloud. Know that God is listening & want to hear what your heart has to say, as He brings healing your way! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for September 20, 2023

When you carpool for work, not only do you have to make sure that you’re ready when they arrive to pick you up, you must make sure that you choose someone who’s responsible & punctual enough to get both of you there safe, on time, & ready to work. If they are late, that means YOU late too. Know that everybody ain’t qualified to carpool with. That’s why you must make sure that you all are of the same mindset & going in the same direction. In life, we choose folks in our lives to “carpool” with in friendships, dating, marriage, businesses or purpose. Be prayerful that you choose wisely in such a crucial decision. You don’t want to choose someone who will make you miss your appointment or hold you back, but you don’t want to make them miss theirs or hold them back. Remember, the responsibility goes both ways! Be blessed! #brotherprater
