As you minister to others, don’t forget to minister & take time for yourself! So many people burn themselves out or push themselves to an early grave because they ignore their physical, mental & spiritual health. Know that God wants you to be a good steward also by taking care of the steward. If you have to turn down some engagements, that’s ok. If you have to stay home & rest, that’s cool. If you have to tell folks no, great! Regardless if you’re in ministry, parent, grandparent, boss, or any other person who has responsibilities, allow yourself time to be replenished & revived…. EVEN IF IT’S TAKING SOME YOU TIME OR SOME YOU & BOO TIME! #Ministers needs ministering too! Be blessed! #brotherprater

From the very beginning, God said that you’re gonna make it. Now, He already knew all the stuff that you were going to go through. But inspite of them, He still saw that you were gonna make it anyway. I know that it’s been hard, there’s been many disappointments & hurts, but God didn’t wake you up just to keep you down. Seek God like never before & obey whatever He tells you. He will give you the strength, comfort, endurance, wisdom & protection in the midst of everything you’re dealing with. Know that YOU WILL overcome this! Since God already said you got the victory & saw that you make it, now ask Him to help you to see that same vision, repeat what He said & live with expectation that He WILL bring it into reality! If you want to stop being disappointed, stop allowing the expectations of others be higher than the requirements you deserve for yourself. Know who you’re dealing with & understand that YOU have a choice on if you want to deal with them or not. Stop feeling hopeless & giving them that option. Look at reality & know that God has given you (not them) the RIGHT to say what you will or will not tolerate. Start putting love, respect & requirements in your life & if folks don’t honor them, THAT’S GREAT. Now you’ll know that they don’t deserve the gift called YOU!!
