Just because a person is friendly to you doesn’t mean that they are your friend! You set yourself up for heartbreaks or disappointments when you make decisions based on your emotions! It’s just like getting a pig out of a mud pin. You bathe them, dress them in a suit, feed them expensive food, put jewelry on them & build them in a million dollar home. As soon as you walk them by a pig pin,, they’ll leave you & run straight to that pin! That mud is their natural habitat! And you wonder why when you help folks or treat them good but they use you don’t appreciate you or take you for granted? Because (DRUM ROLL PLEASE)… THAT’S THEIR NATURE! People are showing you who they really are! You just ain’t paying attention or you’re so focused on your needs. You can’t let your guards down or give your trust to folks because they “seem” cool, or their title, position (Even if they’re family or church members). AND STOP ASSUMING IT’S YOUR JOB TO HELP OR CHANGE FOLKS! That’s God’s job (Only if they want Him to)! This is the time that God is trying to help you to stop being people’s fool! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS!
You need to ask God is this the relationship you’re suppose to be in! Just like God knows the desires of your heart, SO DOES THE DEVIL! The devil will make you go by your emotions & link you up with someone who will pull you AWAY from your purpose, (real) friends, family & ultimately GOD! It may seem fresh & exciting in the beginning, BUT God will show you the “RED FLAGS” that will show you the REAL THEM. Even if you “try to” ignore those flags, God will remind you of them or send people (who don’t know your situation) to tell you exactly what’s going on! The 1st thing I’ll tell you is, CUT THE SEX OFF! Removing sex from the relationship will help uncloud your thoughts & emotions & help you to see the REAL REALITY! Don’t move so fast and giving your heart and trust before them have PROVEN THEMSELVES! Know that the devil will even send an imitation before God sends the REAL THING! This might be a little disappointing to you & you having to start all over scares you, BUT THIS IS THE NEWS YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOU TO HAVE THE REAL LOVE THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU! Fast, pray & tell God if this the right relationship, show you. BUT if this AIN’T the right one, tell God to take the “taste of them” out of your heart! God will help you to accept what He reveals & give you His peace about the answer (regardless of how your emotions feel)! No longer deal with a relationship that’s headed for failure. A life without discipline is a life without commitment. The purpose God has for your requires 100% of you. See, you can’t expect people to invest into you when you’re not investing or loyal to yourself. Many people start things but don’t finish it because they let people (who ain’t got nothing or don’t want nothing) talk them out of their vision. This is the time to evaluate yourself. Ask yourself if you want it bad enough? If you’re willing to STICK WITH IT? Are you willing to tell folks, “NO!” to get to your YES! You MUST be passionate about purpose, be willing to WORK on it 24/ 7 & BELIEVE in it (Regardless if no one else believe in it)! Continue to talk to God about it & carry a pen & spiral with you ALWAYS (even when you go to bed or the bathroom). Take notes of the dreams & things God give you & STOP TELLING YOURSELF YOU’LL REMEMBER IT! Listen! WRITE THAT STUFF DOWN! Don’t wait for the New Year to start the New You!
