Daily Devotion for August 9, 2018
When you’re helping or doing things for others, check your own motives. Some people do things for others so they could be acknowledged, appreciated or to validate their importance to others or themselves. Then after they helped people, they feel hurt or disappointed because they didn’t get the exact response they were looking for. LISTEN! Stop expecting from others what God had ALREADY given you! Not only that reveal insecurities but also manipulation (which is a form of witchcraft). Whatever you do, make sure it’s something God told you to do, do it without expecting anything & with all your heart. Remember, what you do secretly (& a pure heart), God rewards OPENLY! Be blessed! #brotherprater
