Daily Devotion for June 22, 2018

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The word TRANSFORMED is a word that means METAMORPHOSIS which means a PROCESS. Process has NOTHING to do with time, but all to do with your will & what you do in your will (do in your time). Think about it, if you gathered 3 divorced people together, one divorced for 2 years, another 6 years, the last one 27 years, most will think that the 27 year divorcee would be in an emotionally “better place” & the 2 year divorcee be worse. The 2 year divorcee immediately received counseling, forgave, came to terms with reality & was healed, the 6 year divorcee reluctantly got help a year ago after several years of denial & blaming others, but the 27 year divorcee still hates & talks badly about his ex, has trust issues, very bitter & has emotionally distance himself from every (including his family). Now! Who is actually worse? That’s why you can not rely on time. Avoiding the issues of life will not give the help you need. Rely upon our Heavenly Father to collect all the broken pieces in your life & transform you from hurt to healed (complete wholeness). It doesn’t take God long to move, but are you willing to let Him move for you? #The Will to be Restored!

Daily Devotion for June 21, 2018

When you’re facing life’s difficulties, don’t focus on what you’re going through, focus on what you’re getting to (The Finish Line)! satan will tell you things to make you feel overwhelmed, paralyzed then abandoned by God! Listen! God already told you that He would NEVER leave or forsake you. Not only is He RIGHT THERE with you, but He will dispatch others to come to assist you. Be encouraged to know that this condition is temporary & can’t stop God’s Word or promises for your life. Remember! Just because you’re IN a situation does NOT mean that it’s THE END! You will outlive your struggles! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for June 19, 2018

When you hold on to grudges (unforgiveness), you let go of your blessings. Grudges create deeper wounds the longer you hold on to them. You may have to remind yourself to let it go because something or somebody will make you remember what happened & you’ll be ready to fight a bear. Listen! You can’t allow anything or anybody control your emotions. Your emotions will give you a false satisfaction & lead you from your true character. Revenge or your enemies ain’t worth missing what God has for you. They are distractions! Release everything over to God & watch He bless you in spite of others who tried to curse you!

Fathers! We are a reflection of God to our children so, represent well! Show your sons how to be a man. Show your daughters what kind of man (future husband) she needs. May today celebrate the fathers & step-up fathers who are taking care of their responsibilities, to encourage those who are not, to please do so & to honor the legacy of the fathers who are physically no longer with us. #Fathers! Do not send your children to church, TAKE THEM!
Be blessed! #brotherprater
