Imagine a million dollar prize is given to the person who competes in a one person marathon race, but in the next city, an insecure people pleasing person is giving a million dollars away to whoever wants it. Which would you think more people would go to? Although the people pleaser may make people happy, the people would use him only for his money, they wouldn’t respect him & when he runs out of money, the people he gave to would soon leave him. But the people who applied for the marathon race are physically, mentally fit, disciplined, committed to complete the course & willing to pay the entry fee for the race. They respect the race because of the obstacles they had to endure & receive fulfillment when they accomplish what they worked for. Ladies, when a man doesn’t work to get you, he won’t respect you enough to keep you! When you give your body to a man before the marathon race (marriage), you give him the prize & he would have no need (or desire) to enter the marathon (marriage). Know that God made you MORE valuable than to be treated like a car wrecking yard to be used for your body parts. You taking your stands & being true to who God made you will weed out the boys from the men! Be the prize that a “Real” man would want to run the race to win you at the altar!

Who are the people you listen to? Do they motivate you to grow in God or grow in foolishness? Do they like or always deal with drama? Do you feel angrier after you talk to them about your enemies? The people in your circle influence your spiritual, emotional, mental even financial life because you trust them. Take inventory of the people in your friendship just in case they brought along toxic people who traveled with them. Ask God to remove those He did NOT send out of your ears & out of your heart. Sometimes God delays your blessings until toxic people get removed from your life! Be more responsible of who you allow in your ears (even if they are your family).
