Daily Devotion for August 10, 2017

While I was at Walmart, I went to the jewelry department & was helped by a white Walmart employee. As he was talking to me, he changed the conversation & ask me what church I belonged to. I told him & answered some of his questions about God. While the employee was assisting me, a white guy with swastikas signs (Hilter’s symbol) tattooed on his arm walked up to the employee, interrupted us & told him to checked him out! The employee looked at me & I told him to go ahead & check him out. That guy not only didn’t acknowledge me, he didn’t look my way. After that guy was finished & moved out of the way, I told the employee that in spite of that guy’s rude behavior, I chose to allow him to be checked out before me. I told him that his behavior was HIS problem, not mine, but I will pray for him & wish him the best (Yes! That rude guy heard me & immediately walked away)! That situation became a teachable moment for all of us! After all was done, the employee asked for my information & thanked me! When we share God’s Word with others, sometimes we are immediately placed in a position to live out what we talk about. The devil would love to discredit your character, testimony or ministry (especially in front of those who are watching you or those you are witnessing to). You CAN make that devil into a liar & overcome WHATEVER he throws in your way! You can NOT do it within your own ability. Allow God to strengthen you WHEN (not if) those moments come! Remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthen you (gives you the ability to overcome anything & remain standing when everything is OVER)!

Daily Devotion for August 9, 2017

May your intake of peace be GREATER than your intake of stress! Evaluate what you’re allowing in your spiritual gas tank & who you’re allowing as your passengers in your vehicle. There are spirits attached to people’s luggage so check that carefully too. Everybody you call friend (or family) does NOT want you to make it to your destination (purpose). So, it’s ok to tell people NO or REFUSE them to travel with you if they are not going in the same direction, they want you to wait on them or if they’re not helping with “spiritual” gas money! Ask God for wisdom & discernment as you travel on your journey. Remember, you control the gas cap & who rides with you! Be blessed!!!

Daily Devotion for August 8, 2017

If you go to Walmart, you can buy your groceries, get your car serviced, open a bank account, take pictures, visit the play area, get your hair, hands & feet done. This method of being a ONE STOP SHOP store has made Walmart a very successful company & a favorite by many people. Even though Walmart is convenient for some, you have to deal with the long lines, rude people, limited parking space & the risk of them not selling what you need. Although Walmart many accommodate some folks, there’s a Savior who died for ALL, fix ANY problem, heal ANY pain & deliver any issue you’re dealing with. His Name is Jesus! Go to Him for all your needs & desires. Don’t worry about someone taking your space. Jesus is RIGHT THERE waiting on you! What you need, Jesus has it! Be blessed!

If you are in a relationship & your mate has a plan “B”, C your way out of that relationship! Don’t be a “side chick” or “side piece”. The one God has for you will ONLY want you & you ONLY! True love is ALL or NOTHING! Thank God that He loves you enough to send you this REMINDER to WAIT for the one He has for you! Before God sends you your treasure, let Him take out your trash! If your struggle is real, God is REALER! Your situation is “trying to” overwhelm you to distract you from getting to God! The SAME God that woke you up will get you up to getting to the house of God! Move on faith & not your feelings! Put the devil on the run by running to church! Praise God like you had lost your mind! You just don’t know all God has instored because you trust Him in the midst of your problem! In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Be blessed!

Just because someone likes you does NOT mean they are meant for YOU! You may be their type to date or marry, BUT are they YOUR TYPE? Don’t let people blow your mind with compliments that you don’t evaluate them or their motives (What they are telling you should be something you should ALREADY know about yourself so CALM DOWN)! Go beyond your emotions & their looks & check out their spirit, their character, who they hang with, who they listen to, their believes, their morals, their temper (attitude), patience level, etc. Are they controlling? Do they lie to others (true sign that they will lie to YOU)? Is all they talk about is SEX? (DEAL BREAKER)! Do LESS talking & MORE LISTENING! You can’t bring everything to the table (by yourself) & call it Y’ALLS RELATIONSHIP. NO! That’s only YOUR RELATIONSHIP! Compatibility is a 2 way street. Pray! Ask God to reveal the REAL person versus their false representative & PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WAIT on God’s response before you make a decision to date or marry them! Don’t accept someone else’s dream because they may be your NIGHTMARE! Choose wisely, choose Godly, but YOU make the own choice, & don’t let them make it for YOU!

Celebrate other people in their blessings, even if they get their blessings BEFORE you do. Jealousy & selfishness are spirits that will stop or put your blessings on hold. Your blessings are in God’s timing for you, not somebody else’s timing so… DON’T PANIC! God has not forgotten about you! Your order is coming up! Be blessed!
