While you were sleeping, I thanked God for carrying you through this summer. Now that you’re up & getting ready for your 1st day of school, I want to share some things with you. 1) Keep God 1st. Pray & ask God to guide & help you in every area of your life. NEVER place anything or anybody above Him. 2) Equip yourself! Learn & challenge yourself in every area of your life. 3) Don’t be afraid of failure! Just because it didn’t work the 1st time, doesn’t mean it won’t work at all. Failure ain’t fatal but an opportunity to learn from your mistake & grow! So, DON’T GIVE UP! 4) BE ON TIME! Successful people are aware of the importance of time. Time is money! If you don’t want to waste your money, don’t waste your time! 5) Never allow fear or intimidation from others make you feel that you’re not equal to others or you’re not good enough. The SAME God that helped others, can help you! 6) Believe in your God given abilities. 7) Always give 100%. It is better to make a “B” doing your best, than to make an “A” by cheating. 8) I love you! This is to my son, to the children who calls me their play dad & the children who may not have an active father in their lives (you will not be left out)!

Worrying & stressing about a problem or person doesn’t fix it or them! You just have to put it in the hands of God. Now, just because you think about that situation or person, does that mean you aren’t a Christian, lack faith or worrying? NO! It means that you care & you’re concerned. The rule is… When it comes to your mind, don’t allow it to consume your mind (thoughts) or life. We all have (or will have) things or people that we pray for. Ask God to help you to have peace & keep the faith while it’s in His care! #What You’re Concerned About, God is Concerned About Because God is Concerned About You!

When you think your story is bad, you pick up somebody else’s book, read their story, only to find out that their story is WORSE than yours! Then you throw their book down & run back to your book & say, “Lord! Thank you for my story!” You may see someone’s book (life) has a beautiful cover & title but you don’t know the UNEDITED version of their story. Instead of wanting to live someone else’s life, be more appreciative of your own life! You’d be surprised how many people would want to trade places with you. Sometimes you just have to stop complainting & BE MORE GRATEFUL! Things in your life are NOT as bad as it seems. It may be hard or uncomfortable now, but God promised to NEVER leave or abandoned you. Remember, God is the Author & Finisher of your faith & has a purpose for what’s in your book (life). Someway, somehow, God will turn it all for your GOOD! #A GREAT STORY HAS A GREAT CONFLICT BUT ENDS WITH A GREAT VICTORY BY A GREAT GOD! Be blessed!!!
