Have you ever had a person to call you only when they wanted something? When things are going good, you don’t hear from them, but when they want something, they blow your phone up! The strange thing is, if you need them, they are nowhere to be found. Does that make you feel used, unappreciated, disrespected or unloved? That’s a dysfunctional or 1 sided relationship! Think about how you treat God! Do you want Him for what He can do or do you want Him for who He is? Realize God’s grace & mercy is a FREE gift that none of us deserve. But because of His love, He gives it to us anyway! Evaluate your relationship with God! Is it selfish or selfless? Do you love Him with ALL your heart? Remember, your actions reveal what you really feel in your heart! Totally Surrender to Him today! #God is not a sugar daddy, He’s THE HEAVENLY FATHER!! Be blessed!

Would you confess to a crime you did NOT commit? Well, why would you confess something (or someone) in your life that God did NOT plan for you? God knows what’s BEST for you & has your BEST interest in His Heart! Trust our Heavenly Father’s plans for your life, then you’ll receive the quality of life He intended for you to have! Remember, if Daddy didn’t GIVE IT, don’t TAKE IT (or THEM)! Be blessed!

Just because you go to church & you made a mistake or fell back into sin, avoiding church until you “get it right” will NOT make you stronger! It will actually weaken you & make it harder to go to church. Stop beating yourself up! Forgive yourself, get yourself dressed & be fed the God’s Word with the fellowship of others who God had forgiven too! Be blessed!

Those things you’re afraid of, become the things that holds you back in life! Your heart will tell you, “You CAN do it!”, but your head will say, “You CAN’T do it!”. Then you WON’T do it! Remember, God did NOT give you the spirit of fear or timidness, but of POWER, LOVE & SELF DISCIPLINE. Let your feet line up with what God said, “GO!” Be blessed!

It’s ok to get advice from people you know, but 1st find out.. DO THEY KNOW YOU? Do they see you as who you WERE instead of WHO YOU ARE (NOW)? Are they pushing you towards your purpose or are they pushing you towards the purpose THEY want for you? Do they challenge your mind for your dreams or CHANGE your mind on your dreams? Be aware of who you listen to! Even with family, some may only see you as their family member & not the adult you became! Ask God for wisdom in knowing people’s words, integrity & motives. He will reveal who you should accept & who you should deny. Don’t take it personally what God reveal. Be thankful that He is protecting His investment… YOU!!! Be blessed!

Daily Devotion for August 17, 2017
While you were sleeping, I thanked God for carrying you through this summer. Now that you’re up & getting ready for your 1st day of school, I want to share some things with you. 1) Keep God 1st. Pray & ask God to guide & help you in every area of your life. NEVER place anything or anybody above Him. 2) Equip yourself! Learn & challenge yourself in every area of your life. 3) Don’t be afraid of failure! Just because it didn’t work the 1st time, doesn’t mean it won’t work at all. Failure ain’t fatal but an opportunity to learn from your mistake & grow! So, DON’T GIVE UP! 4) BE ON TIME! Successful people are aware of the importance of time. Time is money! If you don’t want to waste your money, don’t waste your time! 5) Never allow fear or intimidation from others make you feel that you’re not equal to others or you’re not good enough. The SAME God that helped others, can help you! 6) Believe in your God given abilities. 7) Always give 100%. It is better to make a “B” doing your best, than to make an “A” by cheating. 8) I love you! This is to my son, to the children who calls me their play dad & the children who may not have an active father in their lives (you will not be left out)!
Be blessed!
