Why be in a toxic relationship so you won’t be alone? You thinking that he’s gonna change or things going to get better is only fooling yourself. He is isolating you from your family/ friends, controlling you, disrespecting you & always belittling you, but yet, you’re making excuses & blame yourself for his behavior! That is NOT love! Regardless if it’s physical, emotional or sexual abuse, it’s still ABUSE & it should NOT be in your relationship! No matter how you try to hide it or keep it within, those that care about you already know that something ain’t right about your relationship. If he is putting you through that, imagine how he would treat your kids. Listen, for your safety & sanity, you have to leave that person alone. Take a break from dating anyone & allow God to heal you. Use this time to really learn who He is & who you are to Him. Your relationship with Him will teach you what true love really is. You don’t have to have sex with someone to prove your love or get their love! You’re worth more than you could imagine! Please consider what I’m saying to make you think before you get pregnant or marry someone will regret. True love does NOT hurt! Be blessed!

Spend time with God, His Word, prayer & a good Bible study class to understand God’s Word (in its proper context). Know that it’s not just the preachers responsibility to study. It is EVERY Believers responsibility! We are fighting & being attacked by the SAME devil. Look at some of the successful athletes, entertainers, popular people you know who are became depressed or committed suicide. There’s even as phrase some people say… It’s lonely at the top! Realize, spirits are REAL! Remember, you’re NOT wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Regardless if you’re a Pastor, Bishop, preacher’s kid or the newest member of Christ, satan will try to attack you with depression too! Depression is a spirit you CAN overcome! Stand before God at all times. Don’t allow yourself or others to overwhelm you with words to make you think you have to live up to their standards, make you lose focus, lose your identity or assignment God has given you!
