I had to carry a big box from 1 area to another. I was determined to carry it all the way to my destination. When I got on the elevator, the box got heavier. Someone told me to put it on the ground until I got off the elevator. Although that sounded like a good idea, I was determined to hold on to it. Also, I knew it was going to be harder for me to pick it back up once I put it down. That’s when I heard a small peaceful voice say, “I provided help for you! Look beside you!” I saw an elavator rail for me & the box to lean on. That gave me the rest & charge I needed to make it to my destination! As you travel in this Christian life, there may be gifts, assignments or responsibilities that you carry that seems too hard to bear. When times get hard, it’s easy to put it down or quit. Even when God elavates you, it may get hardier or heavier, but you can’t put it down or quit. LOOK BESIDE YOU! God will provide a rail for you to lean on to hold you & your package up. Listen! Longsuffering does not mean to suffer long. It means to maintain under pressure & carry the weight. You may not see or understand now but it is for your good. Know that God is showing you that He is your Help, your Strength, your Rest & you CAN make it! Take comfort in knowing that you’re closer to your destination than your realize. DON’T GIVE UP! Lean on Jesus! Be blessed!
