Nighttime Devotion for May 10, 2017

Have you noticed that when you’re at work (or school) you’re sleepy, but when it’s bedtime, it’s hard to go to sleep? The reason? satan would love to see you restless, worried, stressed out, mentally & emotionally confused. Stress & panic attacks happen often during the hours of rest time. But no matter what satan “tries to do”, no weapon formed against you will prosper. I speak rest for your body, mind & soul tonight. I bind the spirit of fear, anxiety, worry, panic attacks, & anything else that would disturb your rest stops, IN THE NAME of JESUS! I speak sweet sleep for you! May God hold you in His Arms & His Love be your blanket to cover you through the night. In Jesus’ Name we say, AMEN!! Be blessed & Good Night!!

The bad thing about failing is not knowing why you failed. Examine the entire journey over & over again until you see where things (or you) went wrong. Acknowledging (admitting) your mistake is an important trait that people look for in seeking for honest people with good ethics & character. Don’t let the failure to define who you are. Use every experiences (even the bad or negative ones) as a learning experience & thank God for His grace to give you another chance at it! Be blessed!

Before any promotion or success, a test of your character will take place. That test could be a lie, betrayal, rejection, etc. Sometimes it comes from those closest to you or those you’d least likely would’ve expected. As hurt as you are, don’t stoop down to their level. See, it’s not what a person does to you that will disqualify your promotion, it’s how you handle it. Unforgiveness & revenge are 2 lethal weapons satan uses as distractions to make you miss your promotion (blessings). Ask God to help you to look beyond the test & see the testimony after everything is over! Remember, if God be for you, who can be against you? Be blessed!!

Water your seed & it will grow! No matter the heat, look after your seed. Your water may come from your sweat or your tears, but when your water hits the soil & touches your seed, you did your part for God to give the increase for your seed to grow. Your child is an innocent seed that did not choose their situation. You may deal with conflict at work or with your child’s other parent, but you STILL must water your seed. It may cause you to work a little harder or cry a little more, but God will rehydrate you! He will turn your tears to joy & sweat to sweets! Pray in your situation & keep on watering! Put it in the hands of God & watch your seed become a forest that will give back to the one who watered them..  YOU! #Keep Taking Care of Your Seed! Be blessed!
