Daily Devotion for February 21, 2017

I was at a business talking to the head supervisor & they asked me what I needed for my future project. I told the supervisor what I need, then left. A few minutes later, I received a call from the company telling me that what I need was placed as a SPECIAL RUSH ORDER & will be sent within a few minutes (instead of months). WHAT A SURPRISE! The supervisor made things happen for me. In life, you may talk to God about your problems or your needs, but do you expect Him to fix it or give it to you? Why are you surprised when God answers your prayers? Some people don’t really pray to God, they just VENT to God or they just really don’t believe that He can do it. Know that God is far more than what you think of Him. Live a life of praise & obedience to the ONE who is ABLE to not only hear your prayers but ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Daily Devotion for February 20, 2017

Imagine you finding out that your favorite childhood hero (the one you grew up watching on tv, the one you dressed like, collected their action figures, posters, & magazine cover) wants to meet you! That would be a dream come true! Imagine how that would make you feel that someone so important to you finds you so important to them! That’s the same way that God sees you. He loves you & has your best interest in His heart. God not only wants to meet you, but He wants to live (take residents) in you. He knows your past, your hurts & still wants to be with you. Know that you are important to Him. Part of Nat King Cole’s classic song called UNFORGETTABLE says, “It’s incredible that someone so UNFORGETTABLE thinks that I am UNFORGETTABLE too! Yes you are UNFORGETTABLE to God!

Daily Devotion for February 19, 2017

Imagine driving down a road & immediately pouring rain covers you car where you can’t see. You reduce you speed,  become fearful of moving forward, but too scare to stay still. It makes you want to turn back around to go home. Those are the SAME feeling the devil tries to place within you. It’s called FEAR! Fear is that pouring rain that the devil uses to block our faith from seeing. The devil will use the rain of past rejections, past hurts, negative words, past failures, etc to paralyze you from moving forward. Know that fear is from the devil to blind you of something or someone God has for you. Regardless if it’s a career change, relationship or spiritual growth, seek God! Allow God to be your G.P.S, Jesus to be your driver & the Holy Ghost to be your windshield wipers that will take you into God’s plans & promises for your life!

Daily Devotion for February 18, 2017

Just because someone rejects or doesn’t like your gift (or talent) does NOT mean that they reject or don’t like YOU!!! LISTEN! Your gift is only a small part from you, it’s not the TOTAL parts of YOU! Think about this.. If no one is buying orange juice from a grocery store, does that mean that the grocery store goes out of business? NO! That store has more to offer than 1 specific product & you have MORE to offer than that 1 specific gift (or talent). Don’t take a rejection personally or make it your identity! You might have the RIGHT gift (or talent) but it may be the wrong timing or wrong delivery. Seek God for the wisdom & patience in fulfilling the assignment that He has for you! God has a specific timing to have EVERYTHING He invested into you to come to pass! Remember, Desserts are often accepted (& enjoyed) AFTER a full course meal! #KEEP MOVING FORWARD & DON’T GIVE UP!!!

Although you have to earn a person’s trust, NEVER allow anyone to make you feel like you have to earn God’s FORGIVENESS!! No amount of work will help us to earn it! Forgiveness is a FREE gift from God (not man) that was paid for on the Cross by Jesus Christ! No matter how many sins you have, how long or recent they were, go to God & confess your sins!

There’s nothing or noone between you and the Father’s ARMS & FORGIVENESS! # Welcome to the Family!

Stay focused, stay humble, stay true to who God made you & pray for those who don’t support you!
