Daily Devotion for January 9, 2017

If someone throws your life lemons to make you sour, pepper to make you cry, butter to make you slip (or fall) & hot water to make you boil, let them call you a chicken & YOU make some Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings! In life, what someone says about you or do to you is NOT the MAIN ENTRÉE, it’s only the INGREDIENTS to make your meal (your life) SEASONED! Ask God to help you to fill your stomach & NOT your FEELINGS!!!

Daily Devotion for January 8, 2017

A fake person will tell you what you want to hear, but a real person will show you (live) what you want to hear. Examine a person’s actions beyond their words. Even a wolf hiding in sheep’s clothing fangs will be exposed if you’re paying attention. Ask God to give you the discerning spirit to see beyond a person’s words, strength to look pass your feelings & get to the REAL motive (character) of a person. Sheep hang with sheep. Stay guided by the good Shepherd (Jesus Christ). Be aware of the big, bad wolf who wants to huff & puff & blow YOUR LIFE DOWN! ***As I was typing this, God said that He doesn’t want you to be a slave to games, tricks, or lies ANYMORE! He wants you FREE! Seek God like never before about EVERYTHING in your life!! Your chains will be broken!! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!!

Daily Devotion for January 7, 2017

A father & son went to go eat. They sat in the car & prayed at a blessing from God to fall upon them. After they prayed, they went inside the restaurant. After they were seated at their table, the father start helping his son do his homework. Many people in the restaurant were looking at the father & son bond. A little boy from another table went to the father to ask if he could help him with his homework. The father gladly helped the little boy also. Soon, the other kids went up to the father to have him to help them with their homework. The father again gladly accepted & used that time to teach the kids in an enjoyable way. After the father finished helping his son, all the kids & completed the meal, he asked the waiter for the bill. The manager came to the table & thanked the father for helping HER children with their homework. She told him that this was the 1st time her kids had a smile on their faces since the death of their dad a month earlier. She also said that their father would help them with their homework also. With tears in her eyes, the manager paid for the father & son’s meals & gave a gift certificate for $100 from the restaurant. The father hugged & vowed to help the children with their homework a least once a week. In life, blessings come by being a blessing to others. When you bless others from an open (pure) heart, you open the opportunity to receive your blessings. Sometimes you blessing others may come in an unusual way, a busy or uncomfortable time in your life, but you never know what assignment God may have you on to be a blessing to others! Ask God to help you to see & accept the task His has for you! Ultimately, the father & manager received an answered prayer… THEIR BLESSINGS FROM GOD!!

Daily Devotion for January 6, 2017

If you can’t trust them within your relationship, you SURELY can’t trust them within your FRIENDSHIP. Don’t pollute your good inner circled friends with toxic, unfit, & unqualified crazy exes. Don’t tell them “Let’s JUST be Friends!” when all they did was use you, caused you tears, misery, & heartaches! They are NOT friend material & you know that! You already know you don’t want to deal with them. Be honest & direct with them! You ain’t got to do all that explain either so KEEP IT SHORT!! Don’t allow them to play with your feelings & talk you out of changing your mind. It doesn’t make you less than a Christian or a bad person to cut ALL ties with them. And PLEASE don’t think that you keeping them around will help them believe in God or do better! That’s a LIE! Refer them to a strong Christian of the SAME sex & let THEM deal with them. No more excuses for no good EXES! Let them be somebody else’s problem, NOT YOURS!! AMEN!! #The Doors of the Church is Swinging Wide Open!!!

Daily Devotion for January 5, 2017

I had plan on being 2 hours late for work to take care of business. God led me to call before I went & they to me to come now. I was immediately seen & finished 1 hour earlier than expected. I then left to go to work. Since the parking garage fills up fast & someone may take my favorite parking space, I was thinking of where else I could park. When I made it to the parking garage, there were many cars inside. I felt in my spirit to continue to head to my favorite spot instead of looking for another spot. When I turned the corner, there were 2 empty parking spots. 1 was my favorite spot & the other was the one beside my favorite spot. Although I didn’t make it to work on time, I was still ON TIME to get my favorite parking spot. In life, there may be problems or situations that you deal with that makes you think that you missed your blessings or what you desire. DON’T PANIC!!! Know that your situation will NOT stop what God has for you! Seek & listen to God’s voice to receive His instructions on how to handle your situation. Although it may seem late by your time, but in GOD’s timing, you’re RIGHT ON TIME!

Daily Devotion for January 3, 2017

You will not defeat or scare the devil by flexing the muscles on your arms. But you will defeat him by flexing the muscles on your knees! Life’s problems & difficulties will only be solved when you give it ALL to God in prayer!
