Daily Devotion for December 10, 2016

Imagine someone denouncing their race because of the negative actions of others. One must know who they are, be proud of who they are & be a true example to other regardless of the actions & behavior of others. That’s the SAME attitude you must have as a Believer of Jesus Christ. NEVER be ashame of being called a Christian because of the misbehavior of others! Calling yourself SPIRITUAL does NOT identify you with Christ. EVERY human being is spiritual & has a spirit, but WHO is in control of your spirit is who you’re acknowledging! In the world of falsehood, lies, and fakeness, people are looking for those who are REAL & TRUE! Be proud to let your light so shine to the world who are looking for Christ within the lives of THE TRUE CHRISTIANS!!

Daily Devotion for December 9, 2016

Imagine driving on a freeway, you realize that you missed you exit, & the next exit is 2 miles away. You would need to travel the 2 miles pass your exit, make a U-turn & go the opposite direction to get to your destination. In life, it may look like your life is going backwards. Don’t look at going backwards as a bad thing or punishment. God saw that you may have missed some opportunities & He designed a U-turn for you to go the OPPOSITE direction to get to your DESTINATION (Your exit)! Instead of getting upset or beat yourself up, seek God to help you to focus & learn from missing your exit. Allow this time for you to get in tune with God as your navigator. Ask God to forgive you & you forgive yourself! Next time, PAY ATTENTION while you’re driving & DON’T let anything or anyone distract you. Keep your eyes on the road & THANK GOD for ANOTHER CHANCE!!

You will know how important you are to others when you realize how important you are to yourself!!! Stop talking down or thinking nagative about yourself & watch how differently people see & treat you! A negative attitude from others often stems from the negative mindset you feel about yourself. Regardless if your stomach has a six pack or you look like you’ve been drinking a six pack, love & appreciate yourself! BE your own fan & you’ll always have a supporter. #Do you love me? It doesn’t matter! I LOVE ME… FLAWS & ALL! !!!

Daily Devotion for December 5, 2016

When you arrive at a red light, you are suppose to stop. But if you’re at a green light, although it is your turn to go, you are to proceed with caution. Even if you’re an excellent driver & obey all traffic laws, the MAIN focus is watching for the other drivers. You must watch for those who are wreckless or unattractive or deal with the consequences of getting into an accident. As you travel in life, you may be a great person, but you MUST not assume that EVERYONE will have the SAME morals & ethics as you do. Just because someone goes to church or has a position (in church), is NOT a reason to let your guards down & automatically give them your heart or trust! Your heart or trust MUST be EARNED, NOT GIVEN. 1 Timothy 5:22 tells us to not be quick to give to people when they have not earned it! The devil wants you to be in an emotional accident that will leave you damaged spiritually! Ask God for wisdom & a discerning spirit in dealing with others to protect YOU!

Remember, being a DEFENSIVE driver is not just behind the wheels… it’s a part of LIFE!!
