Daily Devotion for December 26, 2016

Underneath anger may be HURT! The cashier with the bad attitude? What if she was molested throughout her teen years & she doesn’t trust anybody. What about that guy in the neighborhood with the foul mouth? What if he hadn’t seen or heard from his kids in years because the mother left town & took his kids. What about that troubled kid in middle school? He just loss BOTH his parents a month ago. What about that aunt everybody avoids? Noone realize that her husband is abusing her & she’s too scared to tell anyone.

Oftentimes people see the surface of a person but rarely take the time to find out why a person act the way they do. Never assume that a person’s behavior is without a cause.  Regardless if it’s anger or a smile on a person’s face, you never know what someone had went through or what they’re currently going through. That’s why we PRAY for EVERYBODY! The Bible tells us to even pray for our ENEMIES. Pray for those who despitefully use you. Sometime God has an unusual plan for you to minister or bring healing to those that others run from or ignore! Take the time to listen to someone & pray for EVERYONE!!!!
