Daily Devotion for November 22, 2016
Don’t lower the value of your heart to have someone to buy it! Listen, stores put defected or unlabeled items in a damaged goods cart at a dirt cheap price to get rid of it. Stores don’t place any guarantees or value on damaged or unlabeled goods. They just want it out of their store immediately. But your heart does NOT belong in a damaged goods cart, clearance aisle, or the bottom of a shelf. Your heart has great value! It is percious in God’s eyes. It was made with great quality materials that can overcome any situation life or people may bring. God had placed a price tag on your heart that should NOT be changed. It is secured in His loving care! In God’s perfect timing, He will grant THE ONE after His own heart, the funds for your heart! Many may want your heart but few DESERVE your heart!! Seek God for patience & discernment to recognize the RIGHT buyer access to your heart!
Daily Devotion for November 21, 2016
When you’re obedient to God, your friends (even family) will be like H2O: They will either stick by you like ice in the freezing cold or drip away like sweat in the sun. Conditions of the temperature will reveal the condition of your friendship! God will expose a person’s true character, but you must be willing to accept what He shows you!
Daily Devotion for November 20, 2016
If you were deathly ill, would you wait until you felt better to go to the doctor or would you go NOW? Going now will not only save your life, but reveal any other issues & prevent you from spreading your sickness to others. You waiting until you get yourself delivered or get yourself right before you go to God (go to church) will NEVER happen! Listen! You can’t save yourself! If you were able to fix it yourself, it would have already been fixed a long time ago! You can’t fix or handle your problems in your own power or abilities. Go to God JUST as you are! And don’t worry about people’s opinions or comments! Don’t let anybody make you feel bad or belittled either! You have EVERY RIGHT to be in the House of the Lord just as much as anybody else! You’re there for the Father, not for the folks!! Get up & go to church!!!
Daily Devotion for November 19, 2016
Pray for your future spouse BEFORE you meet them, so when you all meet, they’ll know who’s been praying for them all along! Prayer will not only get you all together, but prayer will KEEP you all together! #Prayer is the foundation in a healthy relationship!
Daily Devotion for November 18, 2016
Have you ever talked with someone over the phone & became so enraged that you SLAMMED the phone down? Because you slammed the phone, you broke the phone into pieces & the loud noise from the SLAMMED phone gave you a headache. But the person on the other line of the phone ONLY heard a SILENT disconnect of the conversation. That shows you that ANGER does MORE harm to YOU than the other person! Ephesians 4:26 says… Be angry but sin not! That means when you become aware the you’re angry, deal with it IMMEDIATELY! When anger is not resolved, it turns to rage, bitterness, & unforgiven. It will effect your stress level, quality of rest, trouble your spirit & steal your joy. That is NOT the quality of life that God has for you. Remember, don’t give people control of your emotions! If they have your emotions, they have you! Stay focus on God & your BIG deals will become small deals, then you can deal with it!
Daily Devotion for November 17, 2015
In dealing with trials and problems in life, it is easy to allow it to consume your mind. Take the time to reflect upon ALL the times GOD came to your rescue in the past. HE’s the SAME GOD that led the Israelites through the Red Sea, the SAME GOD that made a way out of no way, & the SAME GOD that came to your rescue before. Allow your past victories to give you a current hope in your present situations. Although your problems may change, HE NEVER changes. HE is the SAME GOD yesterday, today, & forevermore!!!
Daily Devotion for November 17, 2016
You’re rejected by the wrong person, so you can be ELECTED by the RIGHT person!! Being single ain’t no punishment, when God said, “Wait!” Waiting does not mean, “NO! You can’t have someone!” It simply means, “HOLD ON!” There may be something within You, that other person, or a situation that may need to be worked out BEFORE you all get together, so you all can have a beautiful union where God would be glorified. Know that God had NOT forgotten about you! During your waiting, don’t get frustrated & forget about Him! Praise God for the love you desire even if you don’t see it…YET!!!
