Daily Devotion for September 30, 2016

People develop & build up relationships within dating, friendships, & sometimes with fellow coworkers, but the most important area that some people ignore is… Building a relationship within the FAMILY!!! Family members are often bullied, taken for granted, disrespected, lied to, used, etc. Some feel that they can say whatever they want, treat family however they want or do whatever they want to their family members because they will ALWAYS be there! No one is concern with the feelings of certain family members. Sometimes hurt from family may take years or a lifetime to heal from. Some family members selfish (or abuse) behavior makes some people withdraw from their family & become closer to their friends or others. The sad thing is… How people treat their biological family becomes how they treat their church family! God modeled His family (The Church) to be the example on how we suppose to love & treat our families. Sadly, it’s the total opposite! God wants us to show compassion, understanding & love to not only those who are related by love, but to those related by BLOOD! No one has a choice in what family they are born in or who they are related to. That means, God has a purpose! Start building God’s Kingdom by building God’s people within your family with a simple APOLOGY!! Understand things from their perspective, not YOUR! Remember, family may always be family, but the relationship & trust within family may not always be! All family members are EQUALLY important to God!!

Daily Devotion for September 29, 2016

True LOVE does NOT require “On the job” training! You don’t teach or tell someone how to treat you or your heart. If they really love you (& care for you), THEY’LL SHOW IT ! Look beyond their words & look at their actions. If you’re doing everything, buying the gifts, planning the dates, spending all YOUR money AND have to tell them how to treat you, that AIN’T yall’s relationship… That’s YOUR relationship! You can do better by yourself! (Disclaimer: Never say “I can do bad by yourself!” There’s power in words!  You will be doing bad & stay by yourself! ). Seeking love requires you to pursue someone who is willing to GIVE love in return. Ultimately, examine their relationship with God! This is a clear sign of that person’s relationship & commitment identity. If they won’t commit & honor God, they won’t commit & honor you! Ask God to help you to see the real person & not their REPRESENTATIVE! No longer make excuses bad behavior or being treated badly.

If they need training wheels, they are out of your league!

Daily Devotion for September 28, 2016

Last night, I went to Wendy’s to purchase 2 different salads. When they handed me my bag, I saw an images of 2 salads through the bag. Instead of driving off, I felt the need to closely examine both salads. When I looked at both salads, (although it was the right size) they gave me the wrong order. When I told them, not only did they apologize & fixed it, but they gave me more. Afterwards, God gave me a revelation…. In life, we pray to God for something (or someone). As soon as an image of what we want arrives, we automatically think that God answered our prayers & gave us what we wanted, later realize…. IT AIN’T WHAT WE PRAYED FOR!! Know that when you pray, not only does God hears your prayers, but so does the devil! The devil wants to send a false representation to stress you, harm you but ultimately, break up your relationship with God. After you pray, EXAMINE CLOSELY to see if it’s what we asked for, but importantly, it lines up with God’s Word! Don’t be soo quick to call something (or someone) a blessing until God brings comfirmation. Sometimes imitation comes before the REAL thing! #Check your order BEFORE driving off!

Daily Devotion for September 27, 2016

Although Jesus came that you may have a better quality of life (add to your life), satan came to steal, kill & destroy your life (subtract from your life). When you examine the people in your life, are they adding to you or subtracting from you? When you deal with them, do you feel peace, enriched, & encouraged or negative, confused, drained, or ready to fight? Remember, the blessings of the Lord adds NO sorrow! Ask God to help you accept what He reveals to you about a person.  What kind of Math are people placing in your life? #Addition or Subtraction?

Daily Devotion for September 26, 2016

Don’t let other people’s attitude or disobedience (to God) influence you to become disobedience to God! Sure, the behavior of others may disappointed or hurt you, but don’t let that discourage you or make you give up on God! Just like any normal family, they have the same parents and were taught the same values, but some of the siblings may act totally opposite of what they were taught. This is an individual Christian journey & weren’t not responsible for the bad behavior of others. Know that God sees you & will bless you for YOUR obedience. He will add strength to your heart. Know that the life you’re living IS encouraging others that they CAN make it!

Daily Devotion for September 24, 2016

As I was helping my son pull his tooth, God gave me a revelation… Like a baby tooth, sometimes those people that started with you, will NOT stay with you! As you become mature, you lose your baby teeth so you could have room for your permanent teeth. We will be connected to our permanent teeth much longer than our temporary teeth (Baby teeth). See, your permanent teeth can handle tougher foods, can endure more pressure, more heat or cold items than your baby teeth because it’s connected to the roots. Like the baby teeth, the temporary people were only holding the spot for the permanent people until YOU became mature enough. There may be a little pain, a little blood or tears in losing your baby teeth, BUT it’s only TEMPORARY! This is only preparing you for something greater than you could imagine…. The purpose you were born to be in!! #MATURE TEETH for MATURE BLESSINGS!!

Night time Devotion for September 23, 2016

I am praying for the brokenhearted, those who’s heart is hurting, & those who are feeling lost. You may be at a loss for words, but God know how you’re feeling and sees your pain! Take comfort that your heart WILL be mended back together. You healing will be soon!! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!!
