Most misunderstandings occur because of assuming, not having full attention or basing what was said (or done) on the past. Be prayerful before you speak with someone. Ask GOD to set the atmosphere of the meeting up, guide YOUR words & tone YOUR listening skills. Don’t rearrange when GOD schedule the meeting. You can’t make or force someone to support or follow you to your purpose. If they’re reluctant to help, keep on stepping. Never have someone on your team AGAINST their will. If you’re wondering why no one is cheering for you or in your audience, it’s because you’re performing at the wrong venue! When you take matters into your hands (instead of listening to GOD), you lead yourself to abandon your stage & allow someone else to perform for YOUR audience! Don’t concern yourself with nothing but obedience & focus on GOD! Follow the path that GOD has for you & your audience (supporters) will already be there to cheer you on! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Imagine taking a test in a classroom & the teacher gives you the Teacher’s Edition with answers inside. Would you accept it or refuse it? You would see that the teacher really care for you. Well, in this life, there are many tests that you face. The Teacher (Jesus) took your test, passed it 100%, & gave you His answers. You don’t have to figure it out by yourself or copy from somebody else & both of you all fail it. Everything question, situation or issue pertaining to this life, Jesus has the answer because HE IS THE ANSWER!!! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Don’t let people at work, family, school or church stress you out! You have to let people take care of their own business. Stop allowing folks to walk over you & taking your kindness for weakness. Do you know why they go to you? Because they know you’re gonna do it (no matter how much you fuss). Listen! Being meek doesn’t mean weak. Meek means strength under control (discipline). Let folks handle their own matters, even if you have to turn your head or walk away. Take care of the 1 life that GOD has given you, ’cause if you don’t, who will? Be blessed! #brotherprater

Whatever you’re doing (going to school, working, dating, etc), always keep the purpose as your goal in mind. It may not be easy or comfortable, but remind yourself, it must be worth it because you chose to do it in the 1st place. Last night, I completed my class to become a certified Biblical Counselor. I work full-time, active in church, a very active minister, & a single father. I had to prioritize my time with things that were important & not entertain myself with foolishness, gossip, or matters that did not concern me. I had to tune out folks who wanted to waste my time or those who wanted to distract me. Although it was very challenging, what gave me strength was… To be equipped to advance GOD’s Kingdom & be an example to my son to NEVER GIVE UP!! GOD will give you the strength to do or go through whatever challenges you face. Today, I am a walking testimony that nothing is too hard or too small for GOD. HE is concern about EVERYTHING about you & HE wants to help you! GOD loves you soo much that he wants to be apart of your hope & dream, to make them a reality! When I walk across the stage, I can look up to GOD & say, “THANK YOU LORD!!” & turn to my son & say, “WE DID IT!!” Be blessed! #brotherprater
