Daily Devotion for August 1, 2020

Some actions don’t require a reaction, they require a retraction. Once folks show you who they really are, accept it & leave them along. Don’t play games or tit for tat & step out of your character for folks you already know want to act crazy. Ask God to help you stay focused & not get distracted with professional distractors. See, the closer you get to your purpose, the more your enemies are reveal or you experience folks stab you in the back. Don’t be surprised. Know that the table God prepared for you in the presence of your enemies are familiar faces of former friends & kinfolks you trusted. Don’t be discouraged. God can replace them with solid, upstanding people, who will connect with you & who got your back. Leave everything in the Hands of God. Remember, focus on your grind, not kicking someone’s behind! Be blessed! #brotherprater
