Daily Devotion for October 4, 2019

Never allow the behavior of others to influence your character. Sure it’s aggravating when bad people go unpunished, when one student gets the whole class in trouble or when lazy people at work still get rewarded, but you have to be true to your identity so you won’t miss your blessings. Have you noticed when someone did something wrong, they don’t get caught, BUT as sooooon as you do it, YOU GET CAUGHT & PUNISHED? See, those are the times that God is letting you know that you’re operating OUTSIDE of who you REALLY are! No matter what, be CONSISTENT in who God made you. Know that you represent God & He will NOT allow your character (or identity) to go unnoticed. The blessings, covering & promises that God has for you is WITHIN your obedience to Him & who He created you to be! Remember, DON’T let people make you misrepresent God. Remember, KEEP YOUR COOL! HE GOT YOU! Be blessed! #brotherprater
