Daily Devotion for December 27, 2019

When you don’t know who you are, people will tell you who you are, then they’ll treat you like who you are (to them). Stop looking for a relationship or individual to validate who you are. You’re setting yourself up to be used by people! Listen! God Himself (& His Word) had already told you who you are. Spend more time with God & His Word. As He reveal who He is to you, He’ll reveal who you are in Him! Remember, you’re not defined by people’s opinions or your oppressions, but by the Omnipotence God Almighty! Be blessed! #brotherprater

SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS!
Although yesterday was a big holiday with big plans, don’t let who didn’t see you or contact you disappoint you or ruin your day. In other words, DON’T TAKE IT PERSONAL! People have their own rights or responsibilities to contact whomever they want to. Don’t assume anything negative about their absence either. You never know what came up in that person’s schedule so RELAX! Appreciate that God woke you up & allowed others to see or contact you & pray for everybody else! Remember, let who didn’t see you be a big gift instead of a BIG DEAL! #Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff! Be blessed! #brotherprater

Daily Devotion for December 24, 2019

Letting go is much easier than getting rid of. The more you put off on letting them go, the more you’re stringing them along & giving them the idea that you want them. Stop feeling guilty about your feelings too. Listen! You’re not being mean or evil in ending the relationship (or telling them you don’t want one). That person deserves to know THE TRUTH! And that old saying, “LET’S JUST BE FRIENDS!” ain’t gonna work with everybody, so face reality! Holding on to them until somebody else better comes is misleading their heart & will make matters worse. Start being more responsible with the people you deal with because, in this day & time…. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY! Remember, the longer you wait (to tell them), the harder you’re making it! #Free the one you don’t want, so they could be caught by the one who wants them! Be blessed! #brotherprater
